The Benjamin Wegerzyn Legacy Society was established to help provide for the long-term financial stability of the Wegerzyn Gardens Foundation. The Legacy Society represents committed people who have seen the impact of Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark on the community. They embody a collective desire to see Wegerzyn’s programs and services continue for generations to come.
The primary objective of the Legacy Society is to establish a $250,000 endowment to ensure that the Children’s Discovery Garden will serve future visitors of all ages. Our endowment funds are invested through, and managed by, The Dayton Foundation.
There are many different ways to become a member of the Benjamin Wegerzyn Legacy Society. The nature and amount of gifts is kept confidential. Please join us in securing and expanding the vision Benjamin Wegerzyn began in 1967 by providing a place of serenity and beauty to educate, restore and enhance our community. Our legacy brochure provides additional information.
